We aim to preserve centuries-old traditions, using the finest grade natural spring wools, native dyes and herbal washes. Traditionally, Berber people lived a nomadic existence, leading their herds up and down the mountains depending on the seasons. Weaving has long been a part of their culture, and Berber designs are linked back to the very earliest traces of human history, with early iterations found on rock and cave paintings. Today, the Moroccan rug is one the industry’s hottest design trend. Exceptional Collection of Moroccan Beni ouarain Rugs and Carpets
Moroccan Beni Ouarain carpets are woven from undyed natural wool and traditionally decorated with geometric designs. These magnificent rugs have the fascinating ability to connect the long history of the nomadic Berber tribes with modern day interiors. Beni Ouarians are considered the most prestigious of the Berber rugs. Simple geometric designs, neutral colourways and a deep, soft pile – minimalist luxury defined. The Beni Ouarain are an important Berber tribe and come from the Middle Atlas region.
Combining traditional techniques with a contemporary design, this Beni Ourain rug was hand knotted in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco by Berber women of the Beni Ourain tribe.
The Beni Ouarain tribes are known worldwide for the quality of their white carpets decorated with stripes or geometric shapes such as diamonds. Beni Ouarain and some neighboring tribes of the Moroccan Middle Atlas are famous weavers responsible for distinctive carpets. Those carpets are characterized by their large size and an archaic appearance.

This monochrome leather ottoman is dyed and hand-stitched by artisans in Morocco, Marrakech.
